Juan Lopez

Funeral services for Juan "Johnny" Lopez, 56, of Alvin were held Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Jack Franko officiating. Burial followed at Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland. Visitation and a rosary were held Tuesday at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin.

Mr. Lopez died Sept. 23, 2007. He was born Sept. 21, 1951 in Newgulf to the late Ruben and Francisca Lopez Sr. and was a resident of Alvin for 24 years.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Guadalupe Gonzalez; and brother, Edward Lopez.

Survivors include sisters, Reynalda Garza of Wharton, Rebecca Villarreal of Alvin and Terri Rodriguez of Boling; brothers, Ruben Lopez Jr. and wife Connie of Alvin, Raul Ramirez and wife Lillian of Tomball and Daniel Lopez and wife Isabel of Boling; and brother-in-law, Jose Luis Gonzalez.
