Kenneth Cerny

Kenneth Cerny of El Campo died Sept. 22, 2007 at the age of 50. He was born May 25, 1957 in El Campo to the late Alfonce and Rosie Orsak Cerny. He was a longtime agriculture salesman and was a member of First Baptist Church in El Campo.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Peikert Cerny of El Campo; daughter, Ericka Cerny of Wharton; step-children, Victoria and Cody Stansberry, both of El Campo; sister, Shirley Krenek and husband Don of Wallis; brothers, Clarence Cerny and wife Robbi of Bonus, Larry Cerny and wife Susan of El Campo and Al Cerny and wife Cindy of El Campo.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Triska Funeral Home. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 26, at First Baptist Church in El Campo with Rev. Rick DuBroc officiating.

Pallbearers are Cody and Victoria Stansberry, Nathan Krenek, Clay Cerny, Cody Cerny, Cliff Cerny, Keith Cerny and Jeff Cerny.

Honorary pallbearers are Chad Krenek, Blair Cerny, Jenna Cerny and Chelsey Cerny.
