WCJC Greenroom Players offer children's play this weekend
Drama group plans for busy season in community

The Wharton County Junior College Greenroom Players will present
Nursery Time at 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Horton Foote Theater on the Wharton campus.
The one-hour entertainment is designed to appeal to the child in all people.
"We're looking at the day that a toddler would have in nursery school and we're tying together some favorite nursery rhymes, short stories and songs," said Drama Director Phil Hoke. "I think everyone will enjoy the evening and have a great time."
Tickets for Nursery Time are $5. And, guardians will be admitted free when accompanied by a child 12 years or That production will be entered younger. "We want the kids to come, but we think it's going to be fun for everyone," says Sierra La Bore of East Bernard, president of the Greenroom Players. "So come on out and remember some of your favorite stories. It's definitely an event rated for the whole family."
The Greenroom Players have an ambitious season ahead of them.
They have already helped to produce the highly successful Shotguns for Wedding Bells and they will also produce The Elephant Man later this semester. into the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, and it will be the first time that WCJC has been involved with that contest.
In addition, the Greenroom players will participate in the area's upcoming Relay for Life event and they will be providing moulage make-up and acting training for East Bernard's Shattered Dreams program.
"We have a lot on our plate this semester," Hoke said. "But we also have an incredibly gifted and dedicated group of students to work with. I'm very excited about this semester."
