GILL.7205.Wharton.9.19 9/18/Trista Gordon Dominique Felder and Tristan Gordon, both of Wharton, announce the birth of their child, a girl, born at 1:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2007, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.

The baby was named Trista La'Shaun Gordon and weighed 7 lbs., 14 ozs.

Trista's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Tolbert of Pledger and William Johnson Jr., and the paternal grandparent is Joyce Gordon of Hungerford.

Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Pennice of Pledger and Mr. and Mrs. Harbert Moses of Egypt.

Masiah Fira

Princess LaShona Warner and Eloy Adrian Fira, both of Wharton, announce the birth of their child, a girl, born at 7:01 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.

The baby was named Masiah Adriana Fira and weighed 5 lbs., 11 ozs.

She was welcomed home by Shawnee and Denim.

Masiah's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jackson, and the paternal grandparents are Eloy R. Fira and Mary Lou French, both of Wharton.

Great-grandparents are Louisa Gaona of Wharton and Ignacia Alvarez of Houston.

Jasmine Hernandez

Mr. and Mrs. Miguel Angel Hernandez of Wharton announce the birth of their second child, a girl, born at 10:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.

The baby was named Jasmine Yareli Hernandez and weighed 7 lbs., 15 ozs.

She was welcomed home by her older sister Lizeth Nayeli Hernandez.

Jasmine's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jose Muniz of Boling, and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Maximino Hernandez of Wharton.

Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Juvenile Lopez of Wharton.

Jasmine's mother is the former Rachel Veronica Roma.
