Couples shower for Turnage

Tristan Brynn Turnage, bride-elect of Jonathan Allen Krenek on Nov. 17, was honored at a couples shower held Aug. 24 at the home of Tim and Phyllis Krenek in Egypt.

There were 20 couples hosting the event.

A beach theme was used and the party area was decorated with beach towels, flip flops, sand pails, shovels, sand and sea shells.

Guests were treated to chips and dips, chicken spaghetti, green beans, salad, garlic bread and desserts.

Special guests were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Turnage of Maury City, Tenn.; the groom's parents, Tim and Phyllis Krenek; the bride's grandmother, Rita Turnage of Maury City, Tenn.; and the groom's grandparents, Marcus and Eleaner Spacek of Boling.

The couple were presented with a char-broil grill from the hosts and hostesses.
