Alcohol, drug charges

Ronnie Baker, 49, 412 S. Guadalupe, Port Lavaca, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday for driving while intoxicated (third offense or more). He was held on $10,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Oliver Ball Jr., 37, 303 S. Meadow Lane, El Campo, was booked at 8 a.m. Tuesday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on $2,500 bond.

Jamal Rashad Davis, 17, 1404 Business, El Campo, was booked at 8 a.m. Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with/fabricating physical evidence. He was held on $20,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Burglary, theft charges

Byron Johnson, 38, 2425 Richmond, Wharton, was booked at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday on a theft warrant. He was held on $1,500 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Justin Garza, 18, 914 Cargill, Wharton, was booked on Sunday for a burglary of habitation warrant. He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Assault charges

Rodney Nelson, 33, 1316 Bailey, Wharton, was booked at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday for assault. He was released at 9:18 a.m. Thursday on $2,500 bond.

Frank Joseph Satsky Jr., 41, 10836 FM 961, El Campo, was booked at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday on warrants for two counts of assault causing bodily injury and probation violation. He was held on $125,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Kevin Sosa, 20, 1132 Ellwood, El Campo, was booked Tuesday for two counts of assault-family violence. He was released at 9:33 a.m. Thursday on $10,000 bond.

Other charges

Cornesha Hahn, 21, 501 Willow, Wharton, was booked at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday for failure to appear and a warrant for no insurance. She was released at 9:20 a.m. Thursday.

Andrew Palacios, 22, 518 Sunset, Wharton, was booked at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday for two counts of probation violation. He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Arturo Garza, 35, 848 Pecan Valley, Wharton, was booked at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for non payment of child support. He was held on $10,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Lloyd Finex, 23, 408 Hamilton, Wharton, was booked on Wednesday for probation violation. He was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Adrian Navarro, 28, CR 271 No. 1940, Lissie, was booked on Wednesday for four counts of bond forfeiture. He was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Franklin Scarlett, 19, 103 Columbus, Wharton, was booked on Wednesday for probation violation and a warrant for criminal trespass. He was held on $26,500 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Porfirio Juarez III, 28, 847 Ustynik, Wharton, was booked Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility and speeding. He was released at 5 p.m. Tuesday on $1,500 bond.

Levan Marshall Jr., 49, 312 Greely St., El Campo, was booked at 8 a.m. Tuesday for evading arrest/ detention and capias pro fines. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Magdaleno Espinoza, 41, 101 Sandy Acres No. 9-A, Brenham, was booked at 12 p.m. Monday for probation violation. He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.
