Shawna Deann Parker, 30, 101 Kinkaid, Wharton, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday for possession of a dangerous drug. She was released at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday on $2,500 bond.

Joe Garcia Jr., 41, 418 Colorado, Wharton, was booked at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated (third offense). He was released at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday on $3,000 bond.

Jesus M. Martinez, 18, 211 Higbee St., El Campo, was booked at 6:35 p.m. Monday for possession of a controlled substance and burglary of a motor vehicle. He was held on $5,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Darrel Edwards Jr., 25, 1317 Bailey, Wharton, was booked at 7:50 p.m. Monday for possession of marijuana (commitment) and evading arrest (commitment). He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Assault charges

Bobbie Horrell, 46, 804 Mable, El Campo, was booked on Wednesday for assault-family violence. He was released at 10 a.m. Thursday on $500 bond.

Sammy Davis Horrell, 60, 804 Mable, El Campo, was booked on Wednesday for assault-family violence. He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Charles R. Grays, 52, 1220 Julia, El Campo, was booked at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday for two counts of aggravated assault (commitment). He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Erica Lynn Horta, 25, 407 Jay St., Boling, was booked at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday for class A assault. She was released at 11:46 a.m. Tuesday on $2,000 bond.

Burglary, theft charges

Gregory Lewis, 49, 813 Spanish Camp, Wharton, was booked at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday for class A theft (conviction) and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Aaron Compian, 19, 503 E. Emily, Wharton, was booked at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday for burglary of a habitation. He was held on $5,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Other charges

Lashawn Jones, 35, 500 S. Caney No. 9, Wharton, was booked Thursday for probation violation. She was released at 11:40 a.m. Thursday on $5,000 bond.

Edel Ricardo Ramirez, 31, 2711 Gibraltar, Brownsville, was booked at 6:30 a.m. Thursday for failure to appear. He was released at 11 a.m. Thursday on $750 bond.

Kermit Ladell Edwards, 37, 906 E. Hillje, El Campo, was booked on Wednesday for probation violation. He was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Rene Gabriel Gonzales, 24, 613 Koehl, Wharton, was booked on Wednesday for motion to increase bond. He was held on $20,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Arthurene Smith, 44, 7276 Regency, Houston, was booked on Wednesday on a Harris County hold. She was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

George David Castillo, 41, 1601 Ave. C, El Campo, was booked on Tuesday for indecency with a child. He was held on $20,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Lisa Marie Kemp (aka Lisa Marie Castillo), 39, 1601 Ave. C, El Campo, was booked on Tuesday for failure to appear and theft by check. She was released at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday on $3,000 bond.

Paul Cordova, 39, 404 E. Calhoun, El Campo, was booked on Tuesday for three counts of motion to revoke probation and a driving while license invalid warrant. He was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Raynaldo Rodriguez, 28, 203 S. Washington, El Campo, was booked on Tuesday for bond forfeiture. He was released at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday on $25,000 bond.

Regina Williams, 25, 1420 CR 115, Nada, was booked on Tuesday for probation violation. She was released at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday on $20,000 bond.

Quatisha L. Mangum, 24, 1317 Bailey, Wharton, was booked at 7:50 p.m. Monday for probation violation. She was held on $10,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.
