Crimes reported to local law enforcement agencies

Assaults

Class C assault - Reported in the 400 block of Main Street, East Bernard, between 5:30 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. Sept. 8.

Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 400 block of East Emily Street, Wharton, between 10:20 a.m. and 10:48 a.m. Tuesday. It was cleared by arrest.

Burglary of a vehicle - Two cases reported at the Wharton ISD Bus Barn, 308 East Third St., Wharton, between 5:15 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. Tuesday and 6 p.m. and 8:08 p.m. Tuesday. Purses and contents were reported stolen.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 2800 block of Turtle Creek, Wharton, between 7:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday.

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue, Wharton, between Aug. 20 and Monday. A toolbox with tools valued at $300 were reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Three cases reported at the corner of Fitzgerald and Pietzch streets, East Bernard, between 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Sept. 7. Purses and contents were reported stolen, and vehicle windows were reported broken.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 200 block of CR 164, Wharton, between 2:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 11 a.m. Sept. 8. A lawn mower valued at $150 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at the Riverbend Apartments, 2500 Junior College Blvd., Wharton, at 11:59 p.m. July 19. A Dell computer valued at $2,300 was reported stolen.

Criminal Mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported on Leveridge Street near Clubside Drive, East Bernard, between 8:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. A Chevy Silverado pickup valued at $15,000 was reported damaged.

Other

Fraudulent use or possession of identifying information - Reported in the 300 block of Margaret, Wharton, between March 1 and 12:48 p.m. Sept. 7.
