Daniel Kosik Funeral Services for Daniel L. Kosik, 59, of Wallis, were held Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis with Rev. Richard Johnston celebrating the Funeral Mass and rite of committal. Interment was in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Chris Brod, Glenn Kosik, Mervyl Lindberg, Bo Kucera, Brad Kveton and Mark Pileik. Honorary pallbearers were David Kveton, Louis Gutierrez, Bernard Marek Dennis Kulhanek, David Knight and Larry Wetz. Mr. Kosik was born in Wharton, the son of Paul Kosik Sr. and Matilda Wetz Kosik. He was reared in East Bernard and attended school in East Bernard. Mr. Kosik served his country in the United States Army. On July 29,1972 he was joined in marriage to the former Kathleen Kveton with a ceremony held at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis. Mr. Kosik worked as a air pressure technician for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, American Legion in Wallis, CCA, honorary member of the Wallis Volunteer Fire Department and was the chief cook for Maw & Paw Kettle Kookers. Daniel L. Kosik passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007 in Wallis. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Kosik of Wallis; daughter, Leann Hein and husband Ronnie of Sealy; son, Kevin Kosik and Amanda Hundl of East Bernard; sister, Joyce Randolph of Pearland; mother-in-law, Margie "Me- Maw" Kveton of Wallis; grandchildren, Jenno, Meghan and Cameron Hein, all of Sealy, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Matilda Kosik; brother, Paul Kosik Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Kucera. Memorial Contributions may be made to Houston Hospice, Inc. of El Campo, 1102 N.
