Joe Hubenak

Funeral services for Joe L. Hubenak, 77, of Hillje, were held Friday at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado with Rev. Michael Lyons offi- ciating. Burial followed in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Hillje. A Rosary was held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home in El Campo.

Mr. Hubenak died Sept. 3, 2007. He was born on Aug. 23, 1930 in Ganado to the late Ludwig and Amelia Kazmir Hubenak.

He was retired from May Aluminum in El Campo in 1970.

Survivors include daughters, Leanna Janik of Wharton, Earline Perrard of East Bernard, Anna Krenek of Victoria, Amelia Betz of Florida and Nattlie Hubenak of Sealy; sons Joseph Hubenak of Rock Island, Clifford Hubenak of Sheridan, Adam Hubenak of Ganado, Audie Hubenak of Rock Island; 20 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild; brothers, Jimmie Hubenak of Hillje, Henry Hubenak of Louise and Anton Hubenak of Hillje.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
