Dortch, Franks say vows in Pensacola

Mr. and Mrs. David Allen Franks

Katie Louise Dortch of The Woodlands and David Allen Franks of Hungerford were united in marriage at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007.

The double-ring ceremony was held at Pensacola Beach in Florida.

Katie is the daughter of Jerry and Rita Dortch of The Woodlands.

David is the son of Larry and Veronica Franks of Hungerford.

Maid of honor was Kim Dortch of Las Vegas, Nev., sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Rose Franks of Hungerford, sister of the bride; and Fletcher Cork of Washington, D.C.

Ring bearer was Christian Alcalar.

Best man was Donald Bass of St. Louis, Mo. Groomsman was Ryan Dortch of The Woodlands, brother of the groom.

After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple have made their home in Spring.

Katie is a 2000 graduate of The Woodlands High School and a 2004 graduate of Sam Houston State University. She is employed at Woodforest National Bank.

David is a 1998 graduate of Boling High School and a 2004 graduate of Sam Houston State University. He is employed as assistant superintendent of the East Course of The Woodlands Country Club.
