Members of the Wharton High School’s U.S. Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard present the United States Flag and Texas Flag before each home football game. A question was asked if you salute the flag on the field or on the stadium’s flag pole — according to a captain in the U.S. military, it does not matter as long as a U.S. Flag is saluted. Members of the WHS Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard are, from left, Cadet Sr. MSgt. Evan Dunn, Cadet Sr. 1st Lt. Davian Gonzales, Cadet Sr. 1st Lt. Timothy Mills and Cadet Sr. Airman Tristan Kowalik.
